"BALI NATURE COSMETICS" ECOLOGICAL CHARTER

PURA Bali, the founder of « Bali Nature Cosmetics » is committed to and implements a fully transparent ecological approach.

No obsessional search for an "organic western label", simply respect for our environment and the use of natural Balinese ingredients in our cosmetics.

Our commitments:

 Optimal use of recyclable materials in our packaging: carton, recycled paper, PET bottles…

 Electronic distribution of our catalogues, thus limiting paper documents

 Meticulous selection of natural Balinese ingredients (plant and mineral world) when creating our cosmetics.

 No ingredients of animal origin, except from live animals (honey...)

 Respect for the Balinese people working to produce our products, no child labour, in accordance with the Buddhist philosophy of Bali.

 To share the philosophy of being at one with Nature with our clients.

 To use, whenever necessary, preservatives other than parabens.

 Not to distribute palm oil derived from mass deforestation and to promote coconut oil harvested by hand, using no industrial machines.

A few examples of our ecological action

 PURA Bali cosmetics are guaranteed to contain no

paraben, phenoxyethanol, BHT, colouring agent, or petrochemical-based

preservative. Our natural cosmetics are created from the purest

ingredients provided to us by nature on the Island of Bali, a land still

protected from major industry using non-renewable energy.

 Our gift boxes are made entirely by hand from real

pineapple leaves, employing no energy-using

machines or tools. The rule of ancestral

craftsmanship.

 PURA Bali cosmetic bottles are

marketed using no carton outer-packaging out of respect for our environment.

They are manually filled, one at a time, with their precious substances without

the use of automatic electric machines.

 As for our plant wax candles, although paraffin is available at a

lower cost, its origin (petroleum, non renewable energy) has spurred us into finding a natural equivalent. The candles are produced from a renewable resource – Bali Palm tree wax. This not only offers the advantage of being 100% natural, but also eliminates the soot produced by paraffin.

 All our soaps are plant-based and natural. Their colour comes from the plants they contain. They are produced in the traditional manner, cut out and crafted by hand.

Each soap is individually finished and sanded by hand:

a unique piece is thus created.
